The programs implemented jointly with the KfW bank in the energy system were discussed

RA Minister of Energy infrastructures and Natural Resources Ashot Manukyan received on August 22 a delegation of the German Development Bank KfW headed by Regional Director Olaf Zimelka.

Issues related to the programs implemented by the German bank in Armenia were discussed.

Welcoming the guests, Ashot Manukyan noted that he highly appreciate the cooperation with the bank and expressed conviction that it will be effective from now on.

"We highly appreciate the support of the German government to our country over the past 25 years and attach importance to the cooperation with the German government. The friendly relations of our country with the Federal Republic of Germany will continue as both separate country Germany, as well as a member of the European Union, a country representing driving force",- said Ashot Manukyan.

Olaf Zimelka thanked for warm reception and said: "We have traveled a long way. I think, in the case of such a program, we can talk about progress and the next steps",- said Regional Director of bank.

The interlocutors also referred to the process of implementation of programs, terms and stages of their implementation.

Olaf Zimelka expressed readiness to discuss the submitted questions and suggestions to outline further steps.
