ANPP equipment supply to start soon

It is planned to launch the first phase of the equipment of the ANPP second power unit extension in Armenia this November. For the purpose of replacing equipment, works are underway for tenders and contracts.
   According to Hayk Badalyan, the Chief of Energy Department of the Ministry of Energy infrastructure and Natural Resources, in the first half of the year, 16 contracts for service provision have been signed between the authorized companies within the framework of the project for the extension of the power unit, which have been submitted for approval by the Ministry of Finance of Armenia and Russia.
   - At present, the RA Law on "Deactivating the First Power Unit of the Armenian Nuclear Power Plant CJSC" and Draft Resolutions of the RA Government on "Approval of the Investment Plan for the Extension of the Second Power Unit of the Armenian Nuclear Power Plant CJSC and Implementing the Proceeds from it",- said Hayk Badalyan.

   It will be rimind, the program of extension of the second unit of the ANPP is implemented by the agreement of 270 million dollars provided by the governments of the RA and RF at the expense of the credit and 30 million dollars.
