The Electric Energy Production has Increased

The volume of the electric energy production has increased by 3.5 percent in four months of the beginning of the year. A growth was recorded either in the nuclear power plant, or in the HPPs. The volumes of the production in the ANPP have exceeded the level of the same period of the previous year by 0.98 per cent. By 15.6 percent more electricity was been produced by the hydropower plants. Instead, the production volumes have decreased by around 3.1 percent in the thermal power plants. Almost 2.6 billion kWh of electricity was been generally produced in Armenia from January to April. The largest share in the structure of energy production had the nuclear plant.1 billion and 64 million kWh of electricity was produced at the ANPP for the four months of the beginning of the year, which made up 41.5 percent of the total output. For the same period at the thermal power plants was been produced 754.5 million kWh of electricity. The share of the hydro power plants has amounted to 747.7 million kWh.
